Sometimes I think I don't push myself enough

I never think I will ever be done learning. Right now I think of my glass not even half full, or a quarter. Sure I have been in school for two years but I feel I am just now starting to really grasp what it is that I love, what I want to do, and what I want to learn. I came across a inspirational design video off of lynda.com and it really got my thinking. I needed someone, a physical human being to inspire me. I usually take inspiration off of objects and I just needed someone. I came across this school in pasadena, ca called Art Center College. They have public night classes for people like me to expand their skills and learn new ones. I have to find a way of getting there and work it into my schedule and my budget. This should be interesting, I can't wait to get the catalog that I requested.

Never one project at once.

You know how your mother always told you take one step at a time? Well I would have to say that I am always trying to do the opposite. I am the type of person that is constantly coming up with ideas in ways that will allow me to express my creative side and hopefully gain a profit. My current goals are redesigning my portfolio to showcase all of my work, that I have worked so hard on at school. I am currently working on RE- styling different clothing items, and I signed myself up for a sewing class. I know way too exciting right? I never like doing anything "half-ass" as my mom always explained it. I am always doing everything and anything to my fullest ability and I know that if I set my mind to it I can accomplish anything that comes my way. I just hope that when I graduate I am able to travel, capture the world through the eyes of my lens, and publish a book on it. On top of that, have my own clothing line and be able to have side jobs in making the world a little bit more creative one step at a time.

To say I never study

To say I never study is something I would say back in high school. I feel like I am always trying to, some how, in my crazy, schedule of a day, I try and add studying. Now it isn't what you probably would assume, I am studying what I love to do. So to me studying is just something extra that I like to do for fun. I am always studying the latest videos on Lynda.com that will help refine my skills as they already are. I enjoy learning, I don't think anyone can ever learn enough, I am always going to be a half full kind of a gal, just because my glass will never be full of enough knowledge.

Entrepreneur at mind

I am always thinking of ways I can express myself and sell for cheap bucks.
Buy studs online, in bulk so they are cheaper, and stud away anything and everything.
Buy cheap canvas to paint on. I think this will be tons of fun. I love watercolor, and the texture of dried paint on canvas. Can't wait to start this project.

The eye for the shot.

I love taking photography and capturing what others don't see. I love even more setting up the photo and editing it to its fullest potential. I want to take more fashion still shots, sort of the shots that you see in vogue, the large print spreads. Putting together collections and themes so I can add it to my portfolio. Eventually including my clothing line once I start up seriously designing it and publishing them onto t-shirts. One day, some day soon. I strive for success.
